Description   The 2016 Artisan Postmodern Bass is a thoroughly contemporary combination of Fender’s two most time-honored basses. Its roasted ash Precision Bass body features a gorgeous Tasmanian blackwood top and lacquer finish, paired with tinted quartersawn AA flame maple Jazz Bass neck with a 1960 Jazz “U”-shaped profile and compound-radius (9.5”-16”) round-laminated rosewood fingerboard. Other premium features include hand wound 1962 Precision Bass® (middle) and Jazz Bass (bridge) pickups, rear-load controls and 1960 Jazz Bass wiring, medium jumbo frets and bone nut, A-string Stealth string retainer, RSD bass bridge, Custom Shop certificate of authenticity and black case.
