This bass has great action, and is strung with black ribbon flat wounds. The fretboard was seemingly refinished, but looks to have been professionally done. Body has two small finish chips and has checking typical of this vintage of bass. Overall the finish is smooth and retains most of its original gloss. A second thumb rest was added on the bass side, but otherwise the hardware is all original and rust free. Electronics are all original. Here is a beautiful specimen of a classic 1976 Fender Precision Bass in 3-Tone Sunburst! This vintage bass is in very good condition; a solid 8 out of 10. The body has amazingly little wear for this vintage of bass, with a few small dings and scratches, but the neck shows near zero finish wear. There are two finish cracks that are only cosmetic. Frets are in great shape with plenty of fret material left, and the neck is straight with nice low action. All original electronics and hardware - rust free and shiny! No pickup cover is included with this one, and the only non-original hardware are a set of Dunlop Straplocks. Comes in a Limited Edition Musician hardshell case. Serial number 7647357. 9.7 lbs. The finish of the bass shows some wear, scratches, and small buckle rash, but no abuse. The neck plays incredibly, and is smooth with light wear. The action is flawless, and fast.
