“What we did for this one was to study the greatest and most legendary bass tones and all the components involved in creating them; amplifier brands, recording techniques, etcetera. The result is one of a kind experience. In addition to the mandatory Level and Drive knobs you can mix the clean signal in with the Blend knob. However, without any doubt the control that makes this pedal so unique and versatile is the ERA knob: This unique Knob unlocks some of the greatest tones characteristic of Rock & Roll throughout the ages! It interacts brilliantly with the Drive knob in order to recreate everything, from the smooth, warm and naturally compressed tone of the 70's to the aggressive and punchy growl of the 90's, plus everything in between!” Pedal will be new in box. Made in the US. Regularly $229.95

The Tone Capsule is a new, unusual take on onboard
preamplifiers.  It’s designed to respect
your instruments natural character, while expanding exponentially  on the tonal possibilities.

The Tone Capsule is unique in the way that it doesn’t have a
Treble control.  The idea was Sheldon
Dingwall’s: he thought that making a Bass-Mid-Treble was too normal for his
liking, because everyone does it that way, so he suggested including a second
mid control instead.  Darkglass loved the
idea!  Especially because the second
control could be configured to operate at the higher end of the spectrum,
offering all the benefits a second Treble control (increased clarity and
definition when boosting), but with a more natural, less harsh and noiseless
operation.
The newest Microtubes B3K revision features great upgrades! Same tone, more reliability, Relay true bypass and will be 100% handmade in The United States of America.
The B3K delivers an immense amount of sounds, from warm, clear, and punchy tube-like Overdrives, to devastating Raging Bass Distortions, all without losing a gram of low end or definition! Doesn’t matter if you play pop, rock or metal. This is the Bass Distortion you’ve been always waiting for.
Darkglass Microtubes B3K Bass Distortion Features:
Level: Controls the level of the Overdriven Signal.
Blend: Allows to mix exactly how much clean signal you want to mix with the Overdriven.
Drive: Sets the amount of gain for this pedal.
Grunt Switch: Choose between 3 different Bass boost levels before the gain stages. This interacts with the Drive knob, so you can choose how much of bass you want to saturate
Attack Switch: This switch features the same “Ultra Hi” option in most tube bass amps. And it allows you to choose how much treble content you want to saturate. The Boost setting gives more clarity, presence and definition. The Off option will round up your sound, making it a bit warmer and less sharp.
For ecological reasons, non of our products will ever again include battery snaps! The B3K can be powered with a regulated 9V power supply (center negative). You can also experiment with 12V power supply for extra headroom.
True Bypass
Original Design featuring Hybrid JFET and CMOS gain stages for a natural dynamic response.

The Duality Fuzz is a combination of two totally independent fuzz circuits! Our signature Duality knob allows selecting and blending between a classic sounding, saw-tooth shape shifting circuit and a high gain, thick and brutal one. You can use them individually or blend them for a wide selection of crazy and wild textures and voicings. And as if that wasn’t enough, use the Blend knob to add in some clean signal for 3 layers of fat, thick madness.

Darkglass Duality Fuzz Features:

Level: Sets the output volume of the affected signal.

Blend: Mixes the clean with the fuzz signal. The clean signal remains at unity gain while the volume of the processed one is set by the Level knob, allowingfor fine control of the blend ratio.

Filter: Use this variable LPF (low pass filter) to cut or bring up the high harmonic content. Great for fine tuning the perfect amount of presence and edge.

Duality: Selects and mixes the fuzz circuits. Set it counter clock wise for the old school saw-tooth shaping circuit, turn it fully clock wise for the modern, high gain one.

WARNING: The Duality Fuzz has a current draw of 20mA. Only use a regulated 9V DC adapter with a center-negative plug. Due to ecological reasons it does not accept batteries. Unregulated power supplies and/ or higher voltages may result in suboptimal noise performance and even damage your unit, voiding the warranty.

Blend:
Like all of our pedals, allows for mixing the compressed and clean signals, ideal for fast compression adjustment (to reduce it you can dial back the blend and avoid having to readjust your Input and Output levels for unity gain).
Adjusts the gain on the compressor. Besides working great for ensuring clean operation, it also allows for adjusting the threshold over which the compressor starts reducing gain. Higher input settings will result in higher levels of compression.
Attack:
Sets the time until gain reduction begins (higher settings will translate into faster Attack times).
Release: Sets the time after which the signal goes back to pre gain-reduction levels. Higher release settings will hold the compressed signal for shorter time.
Compression:
Sets the amount of compression (Peak Reduction).
Output:Sets the output volume level of the unit.
Power:

9V DC center negative (standard boss style).

The Microtubes B7K Bass Preamp/DI Pedal is the meanest beast of the family, and probably the most flexible and versatile Bass Overdrive out there! It features all the handy features of its little brother and much more! One of the amazing additions is the musical four band active EQ (12dB boost and cut) which rises-up exponentially the amount of tonal capabilities, giving you all the shaping, and texture options you’ll ever need. This, combined with the Grunt and Attack toggle switches give you all the versatility of a rack preamp in the palm of your hand! Original Design featuring our hybrid FET/CMOS gain stages to provide an amazingly natural tube-like dynamic response Level: Controls the level of the Overdriven Signal Blend: Allows to mix the exact amount of clean signal with the Overdriven.
