Description
The Emperor 5 Standard (E5S) was designed from the ground up to provide every ounce of playability and sonic performance Fodera is capable of delivering based on their 28 years of handcrafting some of the finest electric bass guitars in the World. By building just one configuration, with no options, Fodera is able to offer the same legendary Fodera quality of their custom instruments at a very competitive price point. Every E5S is built in their Brooklyn, NY shop alongside their custom instruments by the very same people, using the same tools. For tonewoods, this model features a medium weight Ash body, a quartersawn Hard Rock Maple neck, and Birdseye Maple fingerboard. Rounding out the package is the Fodera / Pope 3-band Standard Preamp and Fodera Dual Coil pickups. The E5S delivers deep, tight lows, transparent mids and just enough top-end to make for an incredibly balanced sonic presentation.
